So I was given an iPad for our anniversary, but....

It seems to have been hijacked!

I am astounded at how quickly Kenzie has caught the concept. She now comes and asks me for Mommy's iPad....

Happy Birthday, My Love

Today is Ian's birthday (^^,)

This is such an awesome man! A wonderful husband, who always puts us first!

His girls love him so very much!

As is our family tradition, Ian chose a 'fishy' restaurant for dinner,

The girls enjoyed sushi (^^,)

Oh yummy!! Italian kisses for desert...sigh

What a special evening.

Life is short, I am so glad I get to spend my time with these precious people.

Kenzie's New Bed

It always astounds me how quickly the time passes by. Just the other day, we brought home a new born little girl, who was so tiny in her crib. Fast forward two and a half years, and now it is time for a big girl's bed!

It was quite bitter sweet taking down the crib. We have entered a new season (^^,)

She was so super excited when Ian and I had finally finished.

She looks quite at home...

She is so proud of her new bed, although when we tell her that she is getting so big, she is very quick to remind us that she is still a 'little girl'.

Thank you Father for my little and not so little treasures! I love being a Momma to these girls (^^,)

17 Fabulous Years

17 years ago I said "I do" to this wonderful man.

What a wonderful journey we've had so far! This is truly a God sent man. Ian I love you dearly.

I am such a blessed lady, to be loved so completely by this man.

And so spoilt too, he spoilt me with an i-Pad (^^,)

A Day Spent in Nelspruit

We left at the crack of dawn, on Saturday morning, we were on our way to Nelspruit in the Mpumalanga province

Dawn was going to do some bitting consultations,

Open wide!!

My job? The scribe (^^,)

Oh my word it was hot!! 35 degrees! After a long hot, day it was wonderful to sit down to a late lunch! What a fantastic view

This part of the word is very beautiful!

Driving home, we met with quite a thunderstorm. We stopped for a coffee break, and were treated to a double rainbow :)

Thank you Father for your promises!

Dawn did the lion's share pf the driving this time. I was able to get a crack on Ashy's quilt. Glad to say that I am almost done, just a few more squares to go (^^,)

Such a pretty drive home.

Janique Turns 13

On Sunday the 4th, our Janique turned 13! Oh my word time flies!

On Thursday, Brett, Janni and the girlies flew in to celebrate with us. While we were at the airport, Janni and I stayed behind to collect a special someone. Lala was coming to suprise Janique for her birthday!

Keeping this secret was quite something! Let me tell you.

So when we got home, Jan and I entered the house first, and while Janiqe was playing with her cousies, Mom hid in the pantry! (as you do...) I then called Janique to help set the table, told her to get spice from the pantry!! hehehe

Oh my word! She was so surprised when Lala popped out!!

Then on Saturday it was time to set up for the big party!! (^^,)

Dance floor, big screen and lighting sorted...

After our kitchen duties, we were let loose on the dance floor (^^,)

Janique was surounded by precious friends (here she is with her bestie, Heather) and family that came especially to celebrate her. She had such a special evening :)

Kenzie's most favourite place, she loves her 'Bampa"

Well in his own words, this 40 year old DJ ripped up the dance floor!! He did such an awesome job! The kids danced for 4 hours straight!!

Wow, she cleaned up! What a blessing!

Happy birthday precious darling! We are so proud of you! You are such a treasure to our family! I am so happy that Daddy has entrusted you to our care! You rock, Princess
